Elizabeth Ann | portraits

March 24, 2011

A teen session is  SO much fun and Elizabeth Ann was incredible to work with!  We had such beautiful on the day of the shoot and the wind was our friend because it was just the right amount.  Elizabeth Ann has such great style and poise for a girl her age as well as a fun personality.  Her mom wanted to have pictures of Elizabeth Ann in this beautiful dress she has, which is what initiated booking the session.  But since we were going to dull a full session, I suggested she bring a few outfits to work with and get a good variety.  She even brought along Captain, her cute little Yorkie 🙂  One thing I really want to capture on a teen shoot is a variety of expressions, especially big smiles and laughs – but also make sure to get a glance away, subtle smile, a funny face and even a cool fashion shot.  It was difficult to narrow them down to a handful to share on the blog, but I managed to pick a few favorites.

Love this spot that you use for some of your shots! I love the rustic feel of the old house. Great teen, too. 🙂
