What do you get when you mix a few balloons, a big bag of confetti, music, 4 senior girls, a makeup artist and two photographers? A wicked fun Glitter & Gold shoot perfect for bringing in the new year! Many people might think that it is crazy to do a shoot with your ‘competition’, but Leslie Kerrigan is far from that. She is a great friend, has been an incredible second shooter on my weddings and owns and operates a successful portrait business here in the Greenville area. We both LOVE working with high school seniors and thought it would be fun to put together a fun concept shoot to celebrate the new year. Leslie pulled together the wardrobe and I secured the location and got the lights ready. Katie Cotton was our fabulous makeup artist and hair stylist. We have worked with Katie on numerous weddings and have developed a great relationship as well. There is much to be said about creating and fostering relationships with other photographers and vendors in this industry. It makes it better for us AND our clients.
Allie, Bailey, Lauren and Haley were ready to have fun, toss around confetti and even brave the chilly weather outside when I asked to do some of the shots in natural light. I certainly didn’t need coffee because the balloons kept randomly popping which got my heart racing. haha. Please enjoy a handful of images and the fun slideshow to follow just below. Thank you girls and thank you to Leslie & Katie. We all worked together and it is exciting to share the final result.
Thanks for stopping by!
