Toujours.  What is it you ask?  Well, Toujours in French means “forever”.   Toujours with Lisa Carpenter Photography means a session that captures the essence, beauty and sensuality of a woman in an elegant, classy and natural way.  I have been doing these shoots since 2008 however back then I called it “Rock The Shirt” because I loved the look of a husband’s or boyfriend’s white button down shirt on a woman.  These shoots were absolutely a blast and have since evolved.  They are no longer called “Rock The Shirt” but still carry some of the same ideas I had when I originally started the sessions.  About 5 years ago I asked someone about the name Toujours and thought I would go with that name at the time.  I bought a domain with the name but really didn’t change it over to the new ‘look’.  Well it is now for sure without a doubt Toujours and I am thrilled to bits!!  The whole idea is to capture your beauty and preserve it forever.  Thank you for all the emails and questions about these sessions and I am thrilled to announce a few dates where I will schedule up to 4 sessions each day.   Two in the morning and two in the afternoon.  I will be posting more information about these dates and a little bit more about what to expect very soon.  In the meantime, here is a small glimpse into the world of Toujours.

I am truly passionate about providing an environment and a setting in which you can feel the most beautiful…it is when you are comfortable that we are able to capture you at your best and even step it up a notch.  These images are meant to be pieces of you displayed as art.  Nothing you have to put away and wonder if anyone can see them.  Brides, this is such an incredible gift you can give your husband on the day of your wedding.  Imagine how special he will feel?
