When Megan’s mom contacted me about doing a shoot for her daughter, I asked questions about what she wanted as far as style and occasion. When she mentioned that she wanted something centered around her daughter’s dancing, I think I may have squealed! My mind instantly went into overdrive with ideas. So we scheduled hair & makeup with Katie Cotton, discussed locations and then outfits. I knew that I wanted something that captured Megan’s grace as a dancer but also her fun and youthful energy. Since makeup is dramatic for shows, I thought it would be great to capture something a bit more natural and let her poses be the drama in the images.

We met downtown and started the fun. It’s always nice when you can bring a BFF to tag along and laugh with during a shoot. So between myself, my assistant Angel, Megan’s mom and her bestie, we had a team! The wind was relentless but that didn’t stop us…we just had to work with it and figure out ways to manage the hair. haha. I am SO excited to share these!!! Megan, I had a blast and you are simply stunning, beautiful and so very talented 🙂
