Photography is something I am very passionate about. Teaching photography is not only fun but invigorating and I love it! What’s even better is that I walk away learning something too. My two favorite things to teach are lighting and posing. I had the opportunity to speak at the Seniorologie Tour Atlanta which was truly an honor. There were a total of 27 of us at the lovely & serene Inn at Serenbe located in Serenbe, GA. This community has been written about multiple times and now I can see why. It is both picturesque, relaxing, inviting and perfectly manicured. The little town of Serenbe is beyond adorable and it felt as though I was on a movie set. Leslie Kerrigan is the creator behind Seniorologie and did an incredible job pulling this tour together and left no detail undone. There were 4 speakers from various parts of the country: Holli True, Courtney DeLaura, Amanda Holloway & myself. The cool thing is that each and every one of us has our own unique style that can be shared with the attendees so that they can continue to grow in their own uniqueness. Yes, that is a word. haha. Since I have a love for finding beautiful light and directing my subjects into natural poses, this was what my portion was about. It was so awesome to be an attendee myself while the other talented speakers shared their topics. I really enjoyed meeting everyone, sharing many laughs and eating incredible food fresh from the farms at Serenbe. Thank you to all the models!! You did such an incredible job throughout the very long day of shooting.
Stepping outside to talk about connecting & directing with your client:
Somehow my trail mix ended up on my notes. haha!
I got the chance to grab a few images myself while working with the attendees. The models were fantastic!
Wanted to share this in black & white as well…
I was set up to work 2 of the 4 stations, so I didn’t get to work with all the models, but they all worked so very hard.
Thank you for allowing me to share this with you and thank you to Seniorologie for such an incredible experience!
