What can I say…I already miss my super fun couple Lynsey & Drew who just got married a couple weekends ago! I sound like a broken record, but I really feel like a bond is formed when you get together multiple times to shoot the engagement, bridal and the wedding day. Two things I will remember about Lynsey other than her beautiful smile is how she says “sassy” in a very midwestern accent and how she says “oh drewwwww” from time to time. I guess without fully explaining where those come from it may be hard to have the same endearing feelings as I do, but trust me it is too cute when she says those things. Lynsey & Drew have a fun story on how they met. Drew is a state trooper and Lynsey is an ER doctor. Drew had detained someone that needed to be taken to the hospital and little did he know that the man he took to the hospital would help in him meeting his future wife. He saw Lynsey and wanted to meet her but he couldn’t leave the man alone, so he handcuffed him to the bed and went to introduce himself. Thus why the handcuffs in the photos with the rings 🙂 LOVE that story!
The ceremony was at Pretty Place in North Carolina and was very much worth the drive even though the reception was in Greenville. One thing that they both wanted was to spend time taking pictures while walking around downtown, so they informed their guests to go ahead and start eating and they would be there shortly. You never know what you will come across besides great photo opportunities, but we saw a man with a very large snake around his neck and of course had to stop and shoot (pics of course). Then we yelled out for the Rickshaw going by and we realized it was the same guy that was in the engagement photos. Too cool!
After the first dance, Drew wanted to get a picture with the all the state troopers. So after we shot several pics I said “now remember my face & name so that if I am going a ‘little’ too fast, you just might be nice”. HAHA. Fat chance, but it was worth a shot. Ok, enough of my rambling. Drew & Lynsey, thank you so much for making me feel like part of the family. Congratulations!! I miss you guys and wish you all the very best. Thank you to Miss Leslie for all your hard work and bustin’ a move with me on the dance floor on occasion.
Thank you for stopping by!
