Jessica & Preston’s BIG day was filled with smiles and energy as big as the wind was on their beautiful fall wedding. I could not stop smiling myself as I was looking through all of their reception photos because every single person was having a blast! I think everyone managed to stand under the portable heaters now and again…photographers included…but then quickly made way back out to the fun of the night.
We started off the day at the Marriott Courtyard in downtown Greenville. This was not only the getting ready location but where Jessica & Preston would be exchanging their gifts and doing their First Look. I couldn’t help but notice that Jessica seemed to be so very calm in the midst of her excitement while Shantel the makeup artist added the final touch of the perfect pink lipstick. I messaged my other photographer Katie to let her know we were on our way down and to get Preston in place. The beauty of a First Look is to let the moments unfold naturally while we snap away like the paparazzi for a bit. Even though downtown was buzzing with people out enjoying the city, the noise seemed to disappear as the two of them enjoyed their first moments together as soon-to-be husband and wife.
Shortly after the First Look and wedding party photos it was time to make our way to the Wyche Pavilion and stage where the ceremony and reception would be held. The decor inside the Wyche Pavilion was ah-mazing!!! Jessica & Preston’s cake was impressively beautiful. Almost too pretty to cut! The wind was picking up and the temperatures were going down but there was something really beautiful about watching dresses blow around, people trying to tame their hair and covering their shoulders in pashminas. Yes…I was noticing this beauty as my teeth were chattering, but the day was simply perfect and I was enjoying every minute of watching Jessica & Preston start their lives together. It was an honor to be a part of your big day and thank you!!! A BIG thank you to Katie for all your hard work, creativity and energetic attitude. You help capture the magic.
So grab a cup of coffee or glass of wine and enjoy their slideshow…it is worth the watch 🙂 Congratulations again!!!
