Tears. Smiles. Hugs. Love. And…more tears. Jennifer & Jon’s wedding day was filled with all of these and more. Why do I mention tears twice? Because there were tears of happiness & joy, love, funny moments, special moments, remembrance of passed loved ones, the joining of families and more. They were all good tears…and I must say I was wiping my own several times. I sat down to edit their photos and tears happened again because it brought me back to those moments. One moment that will really stick with me was how Jennifer & Jon included their boys in the ceremony. Caiden, Aiden, Ethan and Collin held on to each and every word. I watched them…they truly listened and took it all in. When Jon read a letter to them, I had to wipe my eyes often so I could focus the camera. Something incredibly special and those boys will remember that for a lifetime. Then Jennifer & Jon presented each boy with a silver cross necklace. Two of them were hollowed out and two were solid crosses. The solid ones fit inside of the hollow ones…in other words, they are all one unit and stick together.
Jon, the way you looked at Jennifer said “I LOVE you with all my heart”…and the same went for Jennifer. I have had the pleasure of getting to know you all through our various photo sessions over the last year and it’s truly an honor to have been a part of your big day. Your wedding day was elegant, classy, stylish and full of energy. I would like to take dance lessons from your boys sometime in the future. haha 🙂 They were fun to watch. A BIG thank you to Kelsey for all your hard and creative work!!!
Congratulations to you all! I wish you a lifetime of happiness and many more happy tears.
