One thing that I made a mental note of while shooting Gordon & Lee’s wedding was how different shooting in a familiar venue or location is for each and every new couple. I imagine that is due to the fact that we as people are all very different and so a familiar location can have a very fresh feel to it every time. To me, that is rather exciting and loads of fun! Gordon & Lee chose to have all children in the wedding party which was also quite fun as I really enjoy working with kids both young and old 😉
The reception was filled with so many fun activities that kept everyone on their feet. Jay Dee the balloon artist was creating things with balloons that I didn’t know were possible. The bride & groom he made was so cool that I took about 15 pictures just of that creation. Patti Rishforth was cutting silhouettes of each guest and providing the finished product to them as a favor. The photo booth was so much fun for everyone and the costumes were a hoot! The music was provided by Puzzle and was enjoyed by all. Thanks to the wonderful work of Brigitte & Kim of Southern Panache Events, the entire evening carried on without a hitch. We were lucky to dodge the occasional bit of rain and managed to get out and about for many of the photos.
Thank you Gordon & Lee for allowing me to be a part of your special day.
As always, thank you to my great assistant.
