Mixing up location styles for your family portraits is a really fun thing to do. In the past I have worked with Bo, Nikki and the kids in a beautiful field and a couple of times in their home. This time, Nikki wanted to mix it up and add some bright colors. So we chose to go downtown especially since the Andy & Izzy love the famous bronze pig on Main St. Little did we know that it would be in the upper 80’s, but we were all dressed for fall temperatures…so we got a lil’ roasty in the beginning 🙂 The cool part was that a band was warming up on the amphitheater stage, so it was almost like we had our own background music to enjoy just for the session. The best part about sessions with little ones, is the behind the scenes/in-between shots of all the expressions. I actually love them because it captures life in so many ways.
