For our next session, we headed up to the gorgeous Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. The air was brisk and quite windy but with the scenery surrounding us, it was still so easy to enjoy even if we were shivering a little. The first session was in the summer and this one was during the Christmas holidays so The Grove Park Inn was decorated with the most amazing trees and gingerbread houses. We held off on sharing these two sessions until after the wedding because this was all part of a theme that would be seen on the wedding day. Since Kip’s last name is Smith and they both like the movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith, they decided to do part of the session that would be based on the movie. I must admit it was quite funny to go to the main desk at the hotel & spa to let them know we had toy guns and not real guns and to please not be alarmed or call security on us! haha. Shay & Kip’s wedding was a week ago and it was super cool to see how the photos and theme were all pulled together. I will be sure to include them when I post the wedding. This is just another example of how to have fun with the engagement sessions and even create a theme to go along with things that spark your interest and make you smile.
Stay tuned for the wedding photos & slideshow 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
