Where do I begin? First off, I want to say a big CONGRATULATIONS to Sarah & Collin!! I really feel like I have gotten to know you two over the course of the last year and a half or so. When Sarah & I met for her consultation, she had my eyes all teary. She told me “I already know you are going to be my photographer, you just need to chat with everyone while we are here”. Sarah mentioned that she was at a wedding that I shot a few years ago and knew she wanted to call me the day she got engaged. It was quite humbling and warmed my heart PLUS I knew pictures were extremely important to her. I realized even more how important it is to document one of the most important days in two people’s lives as well as connect with them. So….Sarah, I am thrilled we met a long time ago and even more thrilled that I have had the privilege of working with you, Collin and your families during your wedding process. So now that you two are living in Chicago which is home for me, we MUST get together when I come to visit family and even do a cool city shoot! It gives me a reason to see you again.
Sarah & Collin’s entire wedding party was super fun and made the day even more incredible for them. Some of the most heartfelt speeches and comments came from their friends and family. This just shows me how dedicated they are to them all and well…there is just love all around them. I must admit that one of the slideshows at the rehearsal dinner had me laughing like crazy. Talk about creative!! Speaking of the rehearsal dinner, those photos and slideshow will be posted next.
The entire wedding day was perfect starting at Shantel’s makeup studio and the fun shots we got there, all the way to the end when we headed back downtown for night shots after the reception was over. A big weekend filled with fun, emotion and love. I wish you two all the very best and again, thank you! Thank you to Katie Turner for all your help and creativity. Please enjoy the slideshow and a collection of photos posted below. The gallery of all images will be ready tomorrow. The rehearsal dinner photos will be posted shortly 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
