It was a big family event the day Katie and Mitch had their engagement session downtown Greenville. At the time, I only knew one person. When it was time for the BIG day, I knew several family members really well…especially Katie and her mom. I actually looked forward to hearing from Courtney (Katie’s mom) and having a good long chat. Getting to know my couples and their families is such a treat for me because it makes the wedding day that much more special for me to witness and capture. It seems like ages ago that I met with all the girls to take pictures of them choosing their bridesmaid and flower girl dresses.
We were one week out from the wedding day and I was packing up to head to the mountains for a few days with my youngest son’s school field trip. I was disconnected from technology and enjoyed the fresh air, hikes and hearing the kids laugh and have fun. It was a great way for me to recharge and be ready for the weekend. I left the field trip a half a day early…unpacked and then repacked to head out of town for the rehearsal dinner. The morning of Katie & Mitch’s wedding was absolutely gorgeous. It was slightly cool, blue skies, a few breezes here and there and an occasional puffy cloud. Basically it was perfect. Their wedding day was equally perfect. I am SO happy for you both and am honored to have been a part of your special day. Thank you Katie & Mitch…I wish you both a lifetime of happiness. A huge thank you to Amanda Roeben for your hard work and creativity.
Thank you for stopping by!
